استادیار زبان و ادبیات انگلیسی، از جمله زنان دانشمند برتر جهان اسلام به‌شمار می‌رود. ایشان به‌عنوان دانش‌آموخته ممتاز خارج از کشور، مورد تقدیر بنیاد ملی نخبگان و پایگاه استنادی علوم جهان اسلام (ISC) قرار گرفته‌اند. با بیش از پانزده سال تجربه علمی، پژوهشی و اجرایی در حوزه‌های میان‌رشته‌ای، همواره در جهت ارتقاء آموزش، پیشبرد پژوهش و تقویت ارتباط دانشگاه با جامعه تلاش کرده‌اند.
پس از سال‌ها فعالیت علمی در محیط‌های دانشگاهی بین‌المللی، اکنون تمرکز خود را بر بهره‌گیری از ظرفیت‌های بومی برای توسعه علمی و فرهنگی کشور معطوف کرده‌اند. حوزه‌های تخصصی ایشان شامل مطالعات میان‌رشته‌ای در ادبیات انگلیسی، ادبیات تطبیقی، اکوفمنیسم، علوم انسانی دیجیتال، آموزش الکترونیکی، و کاربرد هوش مصنوعی در زیست بوم دانشگاهی است.
با رویکردی مسئله‌محور و انسانی، آموزش را بستری برای پرورش خلاقیت، تفکر انتقادی و توانمندسازی نسل‌های آینده می‌دانند. در کنار فعالیت‌های آموزشی، در پروژه‌های پژوهشی و همکاری‌های دانشگاهی ـ صنعتی مشارکت فعال دارند و همواره در تلاش‌اند تا دانش را به راه‌حل‌هایی عملی و مبتنی بر نیازهای جامعه تبدیل کنند. ایشان بر این باورند که دانشگاه باید نقشی فعال در پاسخ‌گویی به نیازهای واقعی جامعه ایفا کند.در کنار این تلاش‌ها، ایشان با پذیرش مسئولیت در حوزه امور بین‌الملل دانشگاه، در مسیر تقویت ارتباطات علمی فرامرزی و ارتقاء تعاملات دانشگاه با نهادهای علمی و فرهنگی منطقه‌ای و جهانی مشارکت دارند.
برخی فعالیت‌ها و افتخارات:
• انتشار مقالات علمی در مجلات معتبر بین‌المللی (Q1)
• ارائه سخنرانی در کنفرانس‌های علمی در اروپا، آسیا و منطقه خاورمیانه
• طراحی و اجرای کارگاه‌های آموزشی برای دانشجویان، اعضای هیئت علمی و مدیران صنعتی
• توسعه برنامه‌های توانمندسازی حرفه‌ای و ایجاد پیوندهای نوآورانه میان دانشگاه، صنعت و جامعه
• دریافت مدال طلا و عنوان «زن تأثیرگذار در حوزه علمی و پژوهشی» از سوی دفتر ریاست‌جمهوری در سال ۲۰۲۴
ایشان مسیر حرفه‌ای خود را مبتنی بر یادگیری و همکاری مستمر تعریف می‌کنند؛ مسیری که با گفت‌وگو و تعامل با دانشجویان، همکاران و متخصصان، می‌تواند به توسعه پایدار علمی، فرهنگی و اجتماعی منجر شود. وی به نقش دانشگاه در توانمندسازی جوامع مرزی و تقویت پیوند میان دانش و زندگی باور دارند و امیدوارند بتوانند در این مسیر، نقشی الهام‌بخش ایفا کنند.

About
Azadeh Mehrpouyan is an Assistant Professor of English Language and Literature and is recognized among the leading women scientists in the Islamic world. As an outstanding graduate from abroad, she has been honored by Iran’s National Elites Foundation and the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC). With over fifteen years of academic, research, and executive experience in interdisciplinary fields, she has consistently worked to enhance education, advance research, and strengthen the university’s connection with society.
Following years of scholarly activity in international academic environments, she now focuses on harnessing local capacities to promote scientific and cultural development within the country. Her areas of expertise include interdisciplinary studies in English literature, comparative literature, ecofeminism, digital humanities, e-learning, and the application of artificial intelligence in academic ecosystems.
With a problem-oriented and human-centered approach, she views education as a foundation for cultivating creativity, critical thinking, and empowering future generations. Alongside her teaching responsibilities, she actively contributes to research projects and university–industry collaborations, striving to transform knowledge into practical, needs-based solutions. She believes universities must play an active role in responding to the real challenges of society.
In addition to these efforts, she serves in the role of Head of International Affairs at the university, contributing to the development of cross-border scientific collaborations and strengthening the university’s engagement with regional and global academic and cultural institutions.

She believes in the university’s role in empowering border communities and bridging knowledge with everyday life, and hopes to contribute meaningfully and inspire others along the way.
